Welcome
Welcome
The Doctoral Leadership Conference welcomes undergraduate and Graduate students to participate in our Annual Conference. This Conference is a platform for college students, scholars, and professionals to present and collaborate on original research topics across all disciplines. This year's theme, "In Pursuit of Doctoral Excellence," focuses on research that can help add to the excellence happening in different academic fields and between the general public and the doctoral community. To provide further support and mentorship to undergraduate and graduate students, we have created the Undergraduate and Graduate Research Poster Competition.
Poster Competition
We are calling all Undergraduate and Graduate students. If you have a research project or thesis
work, you would like to present as a poster at a professional conference; the poster session is an
excellent opportunity to showcase your academic work and receive constructive feedback from
seasoned scholars in a friendly and engaging environment.
Why Should You Participate?
➢ Because you are essential to the world of research and in pursuit of excellence.
➢ Network and collaborate with business leaders, students, scholars, and many more from
programs like yours from across the United States.
➢ Suppose you are interested in pursuing a graduate or doctoral degree. In that case, the
poster session offers you an excellent opportunity to meet students and faculty from
graduate programs across the country as they view (and potentially judge) your poster.
➢ Gain experience in the presentation of scientific papers.
➢ Develop skills in effective communication for the dissemination of research information.
Registration and Submission Information
The Doctoral Leadership Conference encourages all undergraduate and Graduate students to
submit an abstract for the poster competition. It is FREE to submit an abstract, and it can come
from many fields of discipline, such as business, education, environmental science, biology,
sociology, health, and economics, to name a few. Abstracts should be no more than 250 words in
length and include the title of the poster, issues addressed in your work, theoretical
framework(s), and results/conclusions of your research (if available).
To be considered you must submit an Abstract of the Presentation (250 words).
Abstracts will be peer-reviewed and decisions for acceptance will be made on a rolling
basis. We prefer all submissions be made prior to March 1, 2023, to notify potential
conference attendees in a timely manner.
All proposals must be submitted electronically as email attachments in MS Word format
to: conference@bcascholarlywriting.com.
Conference registration is
$100.00 for undergraduates and $150.00 for graduate presenters if selected as a presenter. This
registration will allow you full access to the conference sessions, breakfast, and lunch. The

Tie Gala. Tickets for the Luncheon and the Gala can be purchased as add on's during registration.
